Winter Weekend Special

Reserve any Room (other than a Suite) for both Friday and Saturday Evenings and Receive a Complimentary Room Upgrade upon Arrival Courtesy of the Fairville Inn (subject, of course, to room availability).
Reserve a Suite for both Friday and Saturday Evenings and Receive Courtesy of the Fairville Inn Your Choice of one of the following:
- Admission tickets for 2 to two of the following: Longwood Gardens, the Brandywine River ("Wyeth") Museum, or Wintherthur Gardens & Estate (Winterthur may be closed for several weeks in late winter 2010). Because it is sometimes difficult for us to obtain these tickets, please tell us if you would like them when making your reseration -- otherwise they may not be available at check-in.
- 2 Brandywine Wine Trail Passports
- A Bottle of Champagne, Red Wine, or White Wine Delivered to Your Suite each Afternoon or Evening.
This Special Must be Mentioned When Making Your Reservation or at Least 48 Hours Prior to Arrival, and may not be Combined with the Valentine's Week Special. Third Party Gift Certificates may not be used in conjunction with this Winter Weekend Special.
March Madness Special
Select a team in either the men's or women's NCAA Basketball Tournament and have your stay with us discounted depending on how far your team progresses in the tournament.
- If your team reaches the "Elite 8" -- Room discounted by 10%
- If your team reaches the "Final 4" -- Room discounted by 15%
- If your team reaches the "National Finals" -- Room discounted by 20%
- If your team wins the Tournament -- Room discounted by 25%
Rules (there are always rules): Discounts apply to one stay (up to 3 nights) at the Inn between March 1 and April 6, 2010. You must choose your team not later than March 14 (no exceptions). You may call or e-mail us with your selection, even if you made your reservation prior the posting of this special. Discounts are not cumulative, and cannot be combined with the Winter Mid-Week Special. Only one team per reservation. Discounts may take the form of a credit card refund depending on the date of your stay and/or the progress of your team. (Guests selecting the women's UCONN team should have a more sporting attitude!)
Special Discounted Attractions Admissions
 We are pleased to be able to offer to our guests discounted individual admission to the following Brandywine Valley attractions:
Winterthur Museum & Country Estate (includes House Tour) -- $16.50.
Brandywine River ("Wyeth") Museum -- $8
Longwood Gardens -- $14
Because our ability to acquire these discounted admissions is limited, please ask for the tickets when making your reservation (they might not be available at check-in).
Brandywine Sampler
We are dismayed that the Brandywine Sampler, which was a great value if you were planning to visit at least two of the major venues during your stay, has been discontinued for 2010. We are hopeful that a similar package will become available in the coming months.
Restaurant Specials
 Among our favorite area restaurants is Pace One. We have made special arrangements with Pace One to offer our guests discounted dining certificates. Our Pace One gift certificates cost $59 and can be redeemed at the restaurant for $75. If Pace One appeals to you as much as it does to us, you can't go wrong. As we like to say, you can do the math. No advance purchase required, but reservations for dinner are highly recommended. Certificates are validonly for dinner for two or more perons (additional dining certificates can be purchased for larger dining parties).
TYING THE KNOT (a/k/a Getting Married)?
Although the Fairville Inn does not host weddings, we are proud to partner with Faunbrook Bed & Breakfast (faunbrook.com), which is an exceptional venue for weddings and other events. With its spacious house and inviting grounds, Faunbrook can comfortably host an intimate wedding for up to 85 people. Faunbrook's wedding and event packages include transporation for your guests staying at the Fairville Inn. Together, the two Inns offer 22 guest rooms. Enjoy the elegance!
The Fairville Inn is proud to join with Simon Pearce in offering a very special package for newlyweds-to-be. Couples-to-be who register for wedding gifts at Simon Pearce can receive a certificatefor a 1-night stay in the Main House at the Fairville Inn as part of a minimum two-night stay. If you're getting married and you are as excited about the Brandywine Valley as we are, check it out. Carriage House and Springhouse accommodations maybe available as an upgrade. Enjoy the elegance!

The Fairville Inn has joined with Air Ventures to offer a very special accommodations and balloon flight package for lovers and adventurers alike. This limited availability package includes:
- Two nights in a room in the Springhouse, together with a special floral arrangement; a tempting platter of cheese, crackers, and fruit; your choice of a bottle of champagne or wine; and a pair of absolutely luscious chocolate truffles. Full breakfast and afternoon tea are, of course, included.
- A spectacular balloon flight over the Brandywine Valley at dusk or dawn, including transportation to and from the Inn (with a possible launch from the Inn's back meadow), followed by a Champagne toast and a light snack.
- A $75 gift certificate towards dinner for two at Pace One Restaurant.

Each Passport entitles the bearer to a wine tasting at each of 8 wineries, and includes a wine glass to take home with you and a map to guide you on your tour. $20 per Passport.
