What Our Guests Say:
In July 2009, the Inn was featured in Ralph Collier's syndicated column, Tours and Detours and on his radio show on the WRTI network. Click here to read this review.
"After staying at the Fairville Inn, I really regret all the times I visited Chadds Ford and stayed at a traditional hotel instead of a B&B. From now on, I'm coming here instead. The room and private porch, breakfast, antique shop upstairs -- I love this Inn!! Very relaxing, private. Don't change a thing!" S.V.
"We want to thank you for such a warm welcome and enjoyable stay. We have stayed at many B&Bs/Inns and by far this is the best experience we have had. One cannot stay for just a night to to appreciate everything the Inn offers, trustus --you want to stay longer. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are extremely comfortable and the hosts are gracious. We will definitely be back."

"You two have made the Fairville Inn so special! It is welcoming, beautiful, cheerful and so peaceful. We have stayed at the Inn quite a few times, and it just keeps getting better!" MB& SB
"Overall, yours is one of the loveliest inns we've ever stayed in! You're the perfect hosts -- friendlywithout being overbearing. We loved the room [Carriage House #3]." MM
"We found the accommodations spotless and the service exceptional. [Our room] was by far the most spacious and comfortable B&B room we have ever stayed in. The décor was serene and inviting, nicely set for conversation as well as a good night's sleep. All personnel were hospitable and genuinely considerate of our comfort."
"Your magic hospitality and continued hard work make the Fairville Inn a restful delight! Our stay has been wonderful, and we have noticed all the plantings, lights, and happy additions since last year."
"May your business always flourish; you have created a special place."
"We stayed here on our wedding night and it was great. Thanks for making it special and we look forward to returning."
"Thanks for everything. Beautiful setting, great company, and wonderful food. We enjoyed every moment."
"This has to be the best B&B I have ever experienced. Rick and Laura are so warm and welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The rooms are homey and comfortable and beautifully decorated and furnished. Breakfast is fantastic and Rick was only too happy to accommodate my egg allergy. The gardens are well kept and a delight to experience.
I give you both 11 marks out of 10. Thanks for a great stay." Stuartsmom
"This was my second stay at the Fairville Inn and it was absolutely wonderful. 2 years ago my fiance and I stayed here for an early anniversary trip and we had a great time so I decided to book a trip here for my Mother's birthday present. I would have to say that the new owners have done a wonderful job and everything was perfect for our stay. I loved how they gave you a choice of three entrees each morning- especially since my Mother hates eggs and it's pretty impossible to stay at a B&B for more than one day and not get eggs. She was easily accommodated each morning with their delicious breakfasts. The room was extremely spacious and beautiful and we had a lovely view. The afternoon teas are great too. This is the perfect hotel if you're looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway. It's extremely close to Winterthur and a quick drive to Longwood Gardens and many local vineyards." gracie2762
"For anyone who may be apprehensive or had a previous experience that was not up to par; your confidence in B&Bs will be restored when you visit this enchanting Inn. Rick Carro, Innkeeper @ The Fairville Inn is the master of his trade; and was obviously thrilled in being our host on our special occasion.
The setting is elegant in all respects. There was not a detail lacking in our trip that I wanted to be perfect. The service from Rick, Laura and their staff was never ending yet unobtrusive. Rick personally prepares the sumptious breakfast (a choice of 3 entrees) plus a buffet of fresh fruit, cereal etc; an bottomless coffee pot and Ricks baked goods of the day. Rick and staff gave us countless tips on restaurants in the area as well as driving directions in the area. Upon departure we were given a directory of B&B's around the country; but one would be hard pressed to find a better one than the Fairville Inn." MAURYT1
